James Cagney & The Ballroom Blitz!

Oooh yeaah! It was electric! ...Okay, you're probably wondering, so I'll try to explain. No I won't. YOU SEE, my friend Alan threatened to steal my cats if I didn't make a Jimmy Cagney video to this "Ballroom Blitz" song--Or... maybe he just suggested it... I'm not 100% sure... Either way, I found this version by the Surf Punks, and I thought it was funny because it's just so.... weird and chaotic, so I'm like... "I'll do iiiiit!!..." (the original song is by a group called Sweet, but I just happened to like this version better for my video. So shoot me.)

I have noooo idea what this is all about. It's just another one of my random WTF videos. Haaa, you know, the kind I do best! So I hope you enjoy. Thank you to Alan for giving me a video idea. I dedicate this to him! :)

Absolutely mind blowing amazing! Great band, too, but just curious: was there a legal problem using The Sweet version?

Actually, the song was suggested to me by a friend, and he didn't mention who sang it, and I had never heard of it, so when I went to download it, this version and the Sweet version came up. I didn't know theirs was the original and I actually liked this one better for it's pace for the video I was making. So that's why! :)

Why film will never be the same, there will always be actors and movies, but there will never be a Cagney, Bogart, Bette, Joan and Stanwyck, cary grant, fred & ginger gary cooper, to name a few, these guys were smply the best, and today, no character actors like, andy devine, james gleason, henry travers, beulah bondi, margaret dumont S Z Sakall, frank mchugh ans alan jenkins to name a few, it breaks my heart that these are all gone and this period in film, is realy film history.
