It's not 1980 anymore, it's now 2012, you know that right? This whole 'technology and science are for nerds who cant get girls' is an ignorant stereotype from a bygone age. Smart people enjoy the benefits of their intelligence and still get laid. Sorry to burst your bubble, but being smart is cool.

Neo-Luddites or Technocrats? In the world of translators and interpreters, the wrong decision may lead to an extinct profession in a couple of decades.

Is this tech out commercially?
Human translators are gonna go out of business.
I wish they could improve the lag, and make the translation more real time.

Microsoft lies somewhere between madness and genius.
They did some wonderful work with Windows 8. And then they somehow managed to fuck up lots of basic stuff.
I have no fucking clue why the smartphone Skype apps on competing OS are better than the Windows Phone ones or why they didn't ship Windows RT with Outlook (Well, at least they seem to be working on that one).
Hell, they could have allowed .exe files for RT. The open-source community would just need minor recompilling for programs to run.
