@charlesnorte Yes, our 1931 Studebaker type S 1 1/2 ton truck was built in South Bend IN. I believe Studebaker and Pierce Arrow merged around 1930ish.

No, this building never had anything to do with Packard. It was purchased by Studebaker in 1910 when they acquired E-M-F Auto and Studebaker manufactured cars there until 1928.

Was this building originally the Packard Automobile plant? Studebacker merged with Packard in the mid 1950's.
