The 10/09/2010 Columbus Day Parade went off without a hitch. That's a sea change from recent years past, when thousands of protestors cheered hundreds of assailants who blocked the street. There were remnant protestors of less than 1% of previous turnouts. And their effort was hollow by comparison. Their promises of war and turmoil in previous years has decayed into a barrage of vulgar schoolyard insults.
The after party at Potenza Lodge is another story.
I went in and had a look around. It looked like other volunteer after parties I'd seen, only bigger. Several hundred of the salt of the Earth milled around and had a homemade lunch. They socialized and basked in the glow of a job well done.
Then a small but highly offensive (understatement) and oppressive gang showed up, standing on the other side of Shoshone St. They used a bullhorn to put the taint-beyond-the-pail treatment on the affair.
I went over with my camera and had a conversation with them. Things got boring pretty fast, but I stuck it out until their assault degraded to well below insipid.
I crossed the street to the Potenza side to get a wide shot of their position. I got a shot of several children in the foreground with the assailants across the street spewing vulgarity like gangster rappers. The children were angry. More angry than most the adults, who'd heard it all before and just seemed to be bummed out about the silliness.
Since I had spent the better part of an hour amongst the assailants, the kids didn't know what I was doing over there. Several of the kids came to me with anger in their eyes and one asked me: "Do you agree with them?"
I told them "I just point the camera at them to show how ridiculous they are", and the kids were satisfied with that answer.
I turned and walked down an entrance ramp to move to another position, and a half-grown little girl blocked my way. She had her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face. She wasn't going to let me go. I can't tell you what she was thinking, but she apparently hadn't heard what I told the other kids. Maybe she expected the men there to jump me? I gently pushed past her and said "sorry".
She shouted at me: "You better be".
I moved on without another word.
This exchange made my day. That's the moment that told me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that my people had won the day. And the future looks bright.
Genocide is the new "communist" a buzz word meant to instill fear and panic. Nice try. There is no genocide in USA and there never will be.

@MenengaiCrater
Denial is one of the first imperatives in genocide.
deny ~ dehumanize ~ obliterate
deny = "is no genocide"
dehumanize = "communist"
Be honest. What do you really think of the White race? What do you think of other races?

About all I did was point the camera and smile.
I think I was wearing a rust-colored dress shirt and black trousers. That made me stand out but nothing inflammatory.
A White guy calling me cracker is a sign of a political paradigm (psychosis?) called Genocidalism. Technically, it's the belief that no unique race or culture has the right to exist, but only Whites are actually targeted.

@VideoVerity the white people (mostly college kids i bet) only protest becuase they think its cool. next week they will be out protesting something else.

@usaf317 - You are correct. They're mostly college kids from Uni. of Colorado in Denver (UCD) and a couple other schools that share their urban campus, which is just a few blocks from where the video was shot. And yes, they think it's cool based on the overwhelming PC brainwashing they're subjected to there. Unfortunately, this campus is barely worse than the national average when it comes to this cult of Genocidalism.

It's not clear what crazysillybaby1 might mean... Moving on: What responsibility do we have as a legacy in posterity? Some of us will provide many things for the future... happiness, pride, prosperity, etc. In total absolute selfishness, some of us will provide misery, poverty, or much worse... Some of us will simply be entirely extinct to posterity in mind, body, and spirit.
We are all here as a link in a chain in time. We are provided for by the past, we provide the future.
