Why does the CHP ask him to stop filming? He's not interfering or doing anything illegal, it's a public area...what a dumbass cop.

@LiveTheLimit california highway patrol have jurisdiction over the whole state....not just the highways. They are even sometimes asked to patrol unincorporated areas of california that may not always have local police departments....so...yeah they can definitely be there.....

@LiveTheLimit Actually in CA, a cop can pull over someone anywhere. A San Francisco officer can pull over someone in San Jose, it's really stupid.

@LiveTheLimit they are a state operated agency and therefore have jurisdiction throughout the state and wherever the state has roads and property. its just like any other state police agency. It is uncommon however to find them off of the highways because if another agency has units stationed in that area they dont really NEED to be there.

one day i watched LAPD put people in their squad car . they turned their backs and a girl jumped out the back window. the cops caught her and jacked her up good. Then about 5 minutes later the cops saw me and pulled up to me and started questioning me what i saw. I thought i was in trouble!! They just said any time force is used they have to do a follow up report. it was cool
