  • Benny has an AWESOME voice!

  • yeah Lee Castle...and Jess Stacy...y'right

  • Jess Stacy on piano.

  • No, my friend, it is positively Lee Castle...and the trombone player next to him is 1920s Jazz icon Miff Mole.

Louis Bellson on drums who died yesterday or today.

John Mills - the dancer in the blue uniform dancing with the girl in a blue dress is still alive and dancing today.

  • The year is 1943, so a bit unlikely that Harry James would be in. He left Benny shortly after the famous Carnegy Hall concert in 1938.

Present however is Joe Rushton, with his Bass-saxophone, sitting next to the drummer and also present to the ears on close listening.

  • That's THE Harry James on trumpet (he's front & center at 15 seconds in & the last trumpeter you see before the camera dollies past the trombone). Go Harry (married pin-up/actress Betty Grable)!!!

  • Busby rules !

  • BG is such a gangsta!

  • Benny como siempre un gran show, me encanto el video gracias youtube_Avril E.

  • Now dad is music folks!
