that's pretty sick! I got a tenth scale desert truck, and the tires are the same compound. I put a Mamba Sidewinder motor and run an 8.4v 5000mah battery in it, and the tires won't do that!

No that's right brother. 2000mah Lipos are frakin Expensive. I've only seen them from Dynamite or MaxAmps. Unless you find somone selling it for a smokin price used, one should expect to spend between $36.00-55.00 for a single 2cell 2000mah 7.4V Lipo approriate for Minis like this.
I want one for my Mini t but OUCH on the price.

@theskooterguy I got it from hobbytown USA. The motor was about 30 bucks, and the battery was about 40 but I bet you could find a lipo for much cheaper then that online.
