Just wait friend, as soon as you continue your protests over wall street and banking and megacorp corruption that is screwing up the whole world, the violent crackdowns will begin, no government (specially those who benefit from silence) tolerates threats of coup d`état, you will get shot with or without weapons on your hands.

@oookOpera one of the main reasons you guys are powerless is because the gov took your guns and do with you as they wish. As they also wish to do in the US with the lies that 90% of Mexico guns are from the US.

I know, as most Mexicans, that our problem is our government that sells itself (and us with it) to the US and other world powers, plus the corruption and money thirst of everyone who has some bit of power in Mexico, however, let me tell you that Mexico is as powerless over corruption in its government as are all the citizens in the US with all your weapons. It is just as the arab spring, the first of us to jump into revolution will make the others follow.

@MegaBigTruckDriver First sentence I misspelled disagree, I put agree. Thats fine that you disagree.

@oookOpera Thats fine that you agree with me , let me ask you a question? Are you disagreeing because of what you see on TV or heard through local sations? If so that would be called propaganda. Do your own thinking and research and you might be surprised. Also look up dictators that disarm the citizens, you might find similarities with mx. If mexico and its people want to look to put the blame some where ,a start would be to look in the mirror.

I am sure there is something similar going on to what you describe, WallStreet is the major benefactor of drug smuggling, if drugs were legal the profits would not be nearly as impressive.

I agree that there are benefits of having weapons freely on certain countries, but in Mexico that wouldn`t work, as surely weapons being available in the US is not the only factor stopping you from being like Mexico. Mexico`s problem is far beyond just weapons, for example 12 year olds going into cartels and killing people at such a young age for not having better options; the problem is real complex, and I am sorry to disagree but yes, US is the primary provider of weapons.

@oookOpera This scheme was a round about way to take firearms from Americans, luckily the lie failed or more would be killed. America with no guns and it will look like mx here. As you can see in mx criminals dont care for laws and will get guns no matter what, law abiding citizens are defenseless . read up and you will see mx gets there maj. of guns from further south and out of their country. Russia, china are leaders in gun production. more citizens die in cars than from guns in US

america IS EVIL !
one US guy killed and everyone goes crazy, are you people even conscious that non US-habitants are human beings and worthy of compassion as well? What about the thousands of killings in Mexico's HUMAN BEINGS, directly caused by this profiting of US government, weapon makers and senators?

What a travesty of justice!!! The Obama administration blames the crimes in Mexico on America's freedoms (2nd amendment rights), but secretly has the justice department arm the drug cartels? The Obama administration is corrupt and this reminds me of "WACO" and "Ruby Ridge" during the Clinton Administration.
