@Bassbait yea i kno exactly what you mean..i really like the sad jazz songs were like ella fitzgerald or billie holiday is singing..or betsie smith with that loud driving voice...but yea cynic i got into them recently there really cool..have u heard of gojira?there actually really cool..there singer at alot of times has a great driving voice..and the drummer is fairly swell..the singer has that classical jazz growl

Actually, Jazz doesn't bore me because of Improv. I am friends with a very good jazz drummer who takes his solo time as a chance to put blast beats into Jazz, and Jazz is quite interesting to watch, but Jazz as a whole just bores me. The thing is that it's too upbeat and happy. You will never hear anything like Pull the Plug in Jazz, and I like heavy music, so that's why I like Cynic, Atheist, and Death, who combine the two with great results.

@Bassbait to me jazz is actually pretty cool...like watching live stuff..u will never here the same solo twice..its something new and improvised everytime but sticking with the same melody..but everything else u said is SOOOOO TRUUEEEEE haha

Blues duz suk! DUR HUR!

Ok, Blues is awesome, Classical is awesome, Jazz is actually very boring, but can work when combined with metal (ITP for example, or Unquestionable Presence)

Metalcore kids will say they suck as a 7 year old will. They just don't get it yet. It's similar to Stanley Kubrick's movies, most people my age either hate them or never watched them. It requires a bit of understanding, study, and maturity to enjoy, but once you get it, it's the best thing ever.

I fuckin feel ya bro...we real metalheads out here need to kick those metalcore pussies so bad that theyll go back to listening what there parents listened to when they were in high school...disco/new wave. They finally realized they couldnt beat heavy metal, so they joined us and started fuckin it all up for everyone who listens to the good shit....the REAL shit.
