Great vid, although I was taught by my LEO buddys that after you pull the firearm and fire from the hip to (for lack of better words) brace the firearm against your chest while creating distance between you and your target, then at 15-20ft fully extending your arms.
-
@operationsmedia It's way bigger than the other location, but the firing range looks to be about the same size. I heard they might be putting in another range for handguns only. Kinda cool.
-
@ProjectDexter yeah saw that vid as well. I've been doing this drill for years and it is true, its one of the more dangerous ones but as long as you have trained properly, you should be fine. Just remember, on target finger on trigger - off target finger off trigger... that vid, the guy had his finger on the trig way too soon.
-
just watched somebody shoot himself in the leg with this drill, it was, interesting ...

I like this drill. My chcl instructor had us do this drill. He has a range that he does his classes at because the drills he does can't be done on a real range. My favorite drill is close range 3 target drills. He is retired military and teaches a lot of your teachings. Like getting off the X. I love your tips. Keep up the good work.

Nice but next time put your target on some card broad some holes in the card broad old shoe strings and hang it up.

@operationsmedia very nice, i like to go there, but i think their range prices are way to expensive. but i do like the fact i can rent firearms too.
where are you guys shooting at? looks like the range at Get Some Guns.
