For Christmas 2009 I decided to pay tribute to the REAL reason for the season [ Jesus Christ ] and do a couple of great songs that I love to play. I was originally going to do a couple of the usual christmas songs like Carol of the Bells or Deck the Halls but I felt it was best to just wear the hat and play for the One who gave me the ability to hear and play music. You can find How He Loves on many records such as The Glorious Unseen's "The Hope That Lies In You", David Crowder Band's "Church Music", Jeremy Riddle's "How He Loves Live EP", and Eddie Kirkland's album, "Orthodoxy", but it was originally written by John Mark McMillan.
I hate to be repetitive but, although close, this is not really a cover as I didn't stick to what the drummer in the song played. I tried my best to express myself in my drumming and the music I play. I play drums because they are my passion and I love doing it . . . . I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it !!!
..................................On a different note ................ for christmas I got a new snare drum [ in the video ] !! It's an OCDP Maple 13x7 with black hardware [ and a REMO Black X head ] ............ (( I tuned it down a bit for the video to match the feel and tone of the song too ))

  • listen i dont want to be this guy but i am. your young got great talent great emmotion but tone down the emmotion reason is your losing composure thus effecting your playing making you go out of control. remember composure before emmotion. have a clear head get past the emmotion play, then put your emmotion in thinking clearly. God bless

  • Gr8 sticking lil bro

  • Duuude! Santa Claus is satanic! D:

  • 2 Samuel 6:5

David and all Israel were celebrating with all their might before the LORD, with castanets, harps, lyres, timbrels, sistrums and cymbals. ~ God is with you bro! Nice playing.

  • great mate honestly sweeet :-)

  • i always watch this, and tell my friends to... man this is awesome. alot of people try to cover this song and change it... but a lot of time lose the passion... even compared to the mainstream artists who play this, your touch really adds a lot of passion...honestly more passion than theirs. keep it up and rep the king!!!

  • good passion! God Bless

  • nice work bro :)

  • Never stop playing drums for Jesus!!! You have a great future ahead of you!
