  • God bless Emmy....

Emmy's voice helped me through some very dark times in the early 90s.

  • @gdl0748 I guess that some times its done to prevent unsavoury characters leaving profane comments. Personally, I have no problem with 'vetting'. :-)

  • @jpcfit What does it say about me that Emmylou Harris and Lady Gaga are my favorite artists? Either you have very broad tastes - or you're very mixed up! lol

  • My heart stopped with the first note she sang and didn't beat again till a few seconds after she finished the song. I also just now pushed my slack-jawed mouth shut...

What does it say about me that Emmylou Harris and Lady Gaga are my favorite artists?

  • This song is so haunting, I've heard several versions Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, no matter who does it, it still gets to me.

  • @gdl0748 Ha! You must be referring to Ms takenalsoalso who apparently has no other life except concocting and posting vids on youtube. I once commented that her videos of live but unrelated performances didn't really appeal to me and after that she banned all my comments. Seems telling how she specifically asks viewers to "please comment and click like". Begging for acceptance it would seem. Rather sad.

  • I'm getting damn tired of having my comments "pending approval". This is a beautiful woman and a beautiful voice. Screw the people who have to approve my comments.

  • Love this Song and she has a great band that puts a real haunting feeling into it. Her voice is always super. The drums pounded softly giving that perfect pound of sadness.

  • I love Dolly Parton. She has the fame, but Emily Lou has the voice.
