  • I want to smoke!!! Like the writtten word, better than having a voice over.

  • I was tempted to send this to both pro and anti smoking sites and see if I could get them both to use it...

If you are already a smoker, go for it... if not, don't start, it's a horrible habit, and besides then there will be more for those of us that do.

  • awesome, can't wait to see more... i was thinking though, how about using a quick cross fade when you switch back and fourth from the words to the cig. The black flash is a bit jolting at times. I'm not sure if that would actually look good, but it's just a suggestion.

  • Thanks... there are more on the way.

As for the black flas, it's much smoother in the non-youtube version... I think their compression has made it more of a flicker than a fade.

However, with that in mind I might exaggerate it in the next animations just to make sure.

Thanks for your feedback, it's really appreciated.

  • Haha! Great idea! Looking forward to seeing more. How about the "Back to the Future" strip?

  • Thanks.

Back to the Future, eh? I think I might have leant on Marty and the Doc a few times... might be able to put them all together.

  • And how often do we think about the cigarette? No, lawmakers and health experts are only concerned about lungs and tax.

  • I could see this being one of those nifty short animations they used to show as interstitials on some channels. As for pro or anti smoking, it seems to me to be a nihilistic stance like "Yeah it's bad for you, so what else is new?"

  • oh yeah, youtube really has a way of making things not look right.

  • Thanks 'rox.
