@ShRiNkInGMuShRoOmS You said it, a relationship between two sides benefiting from a partnership. So why should Scotland keep all it's oil revenue to itself? Does London keep all of its tax revenues and not send any to the regions of England? No.
The guy did ask a stupid question and the answer he got was par for the course for PMQs.

I'm adding this to favourites, It should get as much exposure as possible.
Once that 68%of Scots realise that the only way we'll ever get our own revenue is independence, we need never suffer such contempt again.

What's at funny (and disturbing!) is the laughter all around the chamber, from all of them.
These people are so ignorant of the structure of the state they govern (the UK) they have no idea that Scotland's share of maritime territorial rights & possessions are not at their whim to decide. If Scots choose independence, the only issue is whether Blair's little bit of gerrymandering around the edges will stand a challenge.
If Scotland votes yes, 90-95% of that oil revenue goes into our purse.

He calls him self a unionist. Isn't a union a relationship between two sides with both sides benefiting from the partnership? We don't live in a union, we live in England, but we call it scotland. England takes our oil, then finds it hilarious when we ask for the money back. What an arrogant despicable vile man. He makes my skin crawl. The sooner we are independent, the sooner we will free from this vile Tory Dictatorship we live in.

@ScotsmanTillDeath look it up u will have problems finding 1 if not u will proberly have to create 1 most right wingers r unionists mind u . I dont have the same issues as yourself. in politics . Mine r westminster having powers over scotland if anything this video will in courage scottish independence because it shows westminster labour tories and libdems dont care about scottish views at all what ever they r
