Troy Davis still has his supporters

All across the world, people joined together today to protest the execution of Troy Davis, a man believed by many to be innocent yet is scheduled to die on Wednesday evening. Immediately after participating in a Washington DC demonstration against Davis and the now almost certain death he faces, Michael Stark joined RT's Kristine Frazao this evening to offer some insight on the case only 23 hours before Davis is scheduled to die.

The US always finds it necessary to interfere in the domestic and legal affairs of Iran for example, asking for clemency for those who face the death penalty there. I wish more foreign elements would interfere in cases like this where it is clear that the man who is about to die is innocent.

I feel for the families of Macphail and Troy Davis. Whether Davis shot Macphail is a possibility. If he was innocent, i feel both of these men paved the pathway for Americans to reconsider abolishing the death penalty. Prison is bad; scientists should be working on cures for these people. Would if these men were your brothers who did this? We don't understand the brain and our "junk dna", so how can we choose to destroy a life for convenience? Life's purpose is to love.

that is okay though because his life was not in vain. white america is gonna pay not only for his life but all the wrongful deaths they have ordered slavery was not in vain. the bible says they will leave with many possession. the sins of the father will be visited upon ONE generation. u think all the storms and rain the floods the decline in ur white lifestlye they deaths at your car shows airs and concerts is a mystery. @sfflanagan987 i'll tell u something on my senior trip of HS 4 years ago we had to check our rooms beforehand to make sure nothing was messed up so we did not have to pay for it later. i was bunking with 2 white kids and 2 non-white kids. when we got 2 our room two ppl walked out. one was black the other was white. we realized the toliet was messed up. so these devils the 2 whit kids said lets tell them a black guy did it. the classic blame the black man. if i werent there they wud have!

@sfflanagan987they prove it all the time. even tho there is no evidence this man the family of the officer said we r glad he's dead. and that is because they dont care who killed there son they just want to see a black man killed. remember 2 whites "any nigger will do" there was testimony that the man that killed the officers was drunk in bar in georgia talking about how he did it. and that same man is the man that blamed troy daivs. that is what white ppl do they blame black ppl.
