It's so sad that highly original and talented bands like them are literally starving while others are making millions with autotune crapshoots.

I'm a brazilian boy that love Brazilian Girls...LOL...
Serious, when I found this band I didn't believe that could exist...it's so international, cool, bueno, nice y legal!
Someday I'll be fluent in all this lenguages too.
St, Sabina blees me for this!! LOL.
I have just one request: come to Brazil guys!
I love them!!!!

Check my response below. I see the validity of your claim but it's an argument that carries less and less weight nowadays. CDs are not where the money is. A&R will breakdown a new album into so many revenue streams unrelated to the album itself (licensing). They are a great group and they will continue to be making glorious music. I saw them a few weeks ago and their new stuff is great. But they are definitely going to be taking a break soon: Sabina is starting to show she's pregnant.

ThanX for the support! I am a music fiend. Music is beyond free now. Check my page for my Pandora links to my refined stations (2+ years in the making!). Then when I bookmark songs there, it loads into my Favtape playlist (144+ songs update daily!). Any songs I bookmark then get sent to SonicLiving where I get an email letting me know that performers are playing in my area.
The cream shall rise to the top in today's music biz. Brazilian Girls will be fine.

So they have to tour themselves to the point of exhaustion and never have a home because you don't want to give them fifteen bucks? Just because a group tours doesn't mean they're "Dave Mathews" rich. It's not always a "cash cow." Some people are just making it. If you loved BG you'd sacrifice the price of a case of beer to make their lives easier.

What a shame if the Brazilian Girls had to stop making music because they had to get jobs to pay their bills. Money pays bills so you can live. See how far you can get without money. Making records is hard work; just because they aren't moving shopping carts around or sitting in an office doesn't mean it's not work.

Don't get me wrong, I love BG but CDs and MP3s are going the way of the buffalo. The main cash cow for all artists is in touring and merch... Which is why I'm going to go see them in Sept.
