@indulis1 Actually, climatologists are the ones who aren't real scientists. That's why their name is so similar to astrologists and not astronomists.

Take Phil Jones, for example. He recently admitted that he doesn't even know how to use a spreadsheet! Not the mark of a real scientist.

She is not a climate scientist. She is a microbiologist. Would you ask her for a diagnosis of your suspected skin cancer? No? Well, for the same reason, outside her field she is an AMATEUR. And she is plainly and provably WRONG in her statements, and is not open to correcting her mistakes, even when the facts disprove her theory. Not the mark of a real scientist.

The nail in the coffin for the "bad temperature stations" conspiracy mentioned has come. Dr Richard Muller was partly funded by the Koch brothers (extreme anti-AGW) to re-analyse the data, and he testified to the US Congress "analysis shows that over the past 50 years the poor stations in the U.S. network do not show greater warming than do the good stations". The untruths continue to be spouted by Jo Nova and her ilk. You'll never see her back down even when her pet theory gets disproved.

Anyone who wants to read about real, proved, documented corruption should read Naomi Oreskes book "Merchants of doubt". Jo Nova's half-baked arguments like "CO2 is plant food" is truly weak- additional growth won't help us much as the rains dry up due to climate change. Also the "temperatures drive CO2" is as dumb as "fires cause temperature rises so a temperature rise can't cause a fire". Truly bizarre!
