Yitzhak Yedid in a rare solo piano performance of his work, Suite Tachanun an almost completely improvised work within the structure of a suite, with musical scenes played for one hour. Suite Tachanun is influenced by styles ranging from Indian and Arab music, French impressionist music (from Debussy to Satie), and free jazz, which runs through the work like a thread. Yitzhak Yedid is composer and pianist, recipient of the Prime Ministers Award for classical composers for 2006, and the Landau Prize for the Performing Arts for jazz for 2009.
