This is a imported new zealand thoroughbred gelding, who's 10 years old, and 16.1. He is out of shape cause he has been out of work this year due to owners back injury. He was 207 and 2008 prelim Area VIII champion. He passed the vet check wonderfully this morning, now we are just waiting the okay from my step dad! :)

SOx:
So since i havent updated you since sox's last dr. appointment most people have thought he had to be put down. Well we had coffin injections done, long story short they didnt work and we are back to isoxoprine. He has his good days and his bad days. Right now i am trying to get this dang video of him in the snow uploaded but with my vegas pro i cant make a video more than a minute and a half long without it being to big to upload on to youtube. Anyways Sox's exrays did show us that he has in fact progressed along quite a bit. The Dr. said that we knew it was time to put him down when he was lying down and standing around every day all day, which is what he does about 3 or 4 days a week right now. So we know we are getting closer. But for now he is happy at home, enjoying his round bales and his bank (we built a bank and he loves to stand on it and look at things since he is so high up.)

Cant wait to get the new guy to Texas! :)

  • nice horse! don't see him on the area viii leaderboards for prelim though (;

  • they only have this years leader boards up....

  • if you go to the area viii site, they have up until 2006. (;

  • those are the point leaderboards.. they dont have the actually Area VIII Championship show results up there. just the point leaderboards. Those are 2 different things.

  • if you create a project on vegas and then import the whole, rendered video to windows movie maker and publish it with movie maker, it will compress the file and make it smaller so you can upload it to youtube :D

  • thanks! thats awesome!
