I just wanted to test out my JVC Everio Camera on the special effects level... and boy did it live up to expectations! I also used a new toy I got for Post-Production... called Wax 2.0, Completely Free, and has a BUILT-IN Particle Generator!!!!! Thus, the fire without me getting burned, the lightning was just a fun side-note, and an inside effect from the video A debate gone horribly wrong, also by me, with me and my friend michael fighting to see which one's better... HDDVD, or Blu-Ray... lol looks like, in the current market, Blu-Ray really IS winning in video, at least...
Can you tell me how you got the lightening effect???

@MAZBvidz oh, that's not a problem, really... the fire was harder than the lightning... it's a preset in Adobe Premire Elements 3.0 and 4.0 for sure... under effects, go to Render, and you can render a ramp (haven't played around with that yet) and Lightning... you can then move the endpoints of the lightning, and it sets a randomized animation based upon your preferences for the effect... took me to play around with it to get it... hope that helped...

Interesting enough. Well I've seen your other videos and this is *at least* on par with those... even if the cloning in pictures was far easier I still preferred it... but meh. Also... is that the same camera I had the joy of seeing when you visited the Multimedia room 7th hour? It must be.

The very same... lolz yeah, I was testing my camera on the special effects level, so nothing REALLY special... although, the "fire" you see there is all a part of my new particle generator thanks to Wax 2.0, a free NLE... just google it... lolz it's amazing... although, you can't do audio with it really well, but I used it as a plug-in for Adobe Premiere Elements... lolz

Thank you! Actually, I used Wax 2.0 as a plug-in for the fire, but the lightning is built-in to Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0...
