I hope you didnt just stop your car where the video ends!! Not a very safe place, right on the apex. Glad the driver was OK.

I was not driving. The car is in the innside corner and is parked in the gras so think it was not unsafe. But I dident like the place so after checking the driver and reported the accident I removed the car even futher bakck into a sideroad.

The crashed car (Renault R26R) is plased spot on Apex. If you use the filming car`s place as apex you can`t drive very well. The filming car (Shirocco) is moved out of the track short time after stopping so I felt safe moving out of the car. The driver ran out 100 meters down track and alarmed other drivers Wile I phoned the accident to Nürburgring crew.

I can`t see mutch else we could do better. I was there.....were you?

It was just matter of time before you relived to all how serious you are.

If you are so good you think you are, meet me at Pistenklause Friday the 30`th arround 20:00. I will buy you a Pizza and a beer. I can bring along a track map over HoheAcht and point out were I think the correckt Apex are for you, and Satturday we try both this corner in 115 Km/h.

I dont think its funny that other people crash and maby hurt them selves. The only reason to publick this video is to show others that the Ring is dangerous.

I have only 100 laps on the Ring and has tried to learn from other drivers misstake. But everybody regardless of experience will crash if they push the limit og tries to improve they personal best. Even Sabine......

@bareracing Yup there is a late apex there. Probably the safest place on the track. That was a random place to crash. It looks like the driver stopped concentrating.

@wakiegeek In fact that was a very good place to stop,because the stopped car could be seen by other drivers coming around the previous corner where as the r26 right on the apex could not.

At least some people take the effort to go to a circuit, and that's worth a compliment.

It shows maturity and responsiblity over others who try hard racing on public roads.

A crash always sucks..but it sucks even more doing it in traffic. I always want to know how these kinds of skids happen. Looks like the car hops a little upward in the corner, becaurse it was not lowered enough? It looks like a serious car. Looks good too by the way. Is there information about this>

Bareracing is right, the renault is on the apex, however you stopped on the inside corner so that could have been dangerous. Though to be fair you are a good driver!
