  • My fiancé wants to have this done in the near future. Since it's done in an office setting, would I be aloud to sit in on the procedure and watch?

  • @britnactis When a man comes to the clinic with his partner, the doctor usually talks with both of them about the vasectomy. Then after all of their questions are answered, the woman waits to the reception area during the short procedure. Whether you would be allowed to stay in the exam room during the vasectomy is up to the doctor and of course, your partner. If it's something you want to do, ask during the conference.

  • I got a question, I plan on getting a vasectomy but with a guarantee of putting my sperms into a sperm bank, but I do not want my sexual activity to change one bit. How does one feel when he orgasms, will there be any liquid coming out? what is the orgasm like?

  • @Valca000 A vasectomy does not change orgasms. After a vas, the amount of fluid ejaculated will be 3-5% less. This difference is so small that no one notices (unless you are in the habit of measuring ejaculate). If you are going to freeze sperm, you should be aware that cryo-preservation costs about $300 per year for storage. Usually guys who want to freeze sperm are not quit ready for the permanency of a vasectomy and should talk to their partner about getting an IUD or implantable hormones.

  • how old do you have to be? because I do NOT want kids EVER.

  • any guy over 18 years old can get a vasectomy, i got my vasectomy when i was only 20 years old because of my disability that i'm not capable of raising a child of my own. i am a mild mentally retarded(MENTALLY CHALLENGED)guy and it was for my best interest to have a vasectomy. all i know my insurance company paid for my vasectomy since i'm disabled. medicaid will always pay for sterilisation for poor and disabled adults, it was $500.00 of taxpayers money well spent.
