Bing Crosby impeccably croons Arthur Freed & Nacio Herb Brown's wonderful song "TEMPTATION". From the 1933 movie, "Going Hollywood".

  • LOVE Bing at this point in his career

  • Yes, this is also one of my favorite times in Bing's career. His song "Beautiful Girl" (from the same film) is in the same style and great too!

  • Thanks! The 78 version is good, but this is better...just wish they had stretched it out to at least 2:30!

  • @kovik62 Yes, this has yet to be bettered. From what I believe to be his best period late 20s to 1934.

  • @clauclau33 I agree. I think it's because much of it is in minor key.

  • I thought to myself, "I would like to see a clip Bing Crosby singing that temptation song but I bet nobody has it"....Lost that bet. Thanks for uploading.

  • Linda. Interpretação inesquecível com uma dramaticidade fora do comum. Bing Crosby nos leva em sonhos a coisas do nosso passado. Enquanto existirem pessoas sensíveis, este belissimo clip de 1933 será imortal.

  • wonderful, ithis the life.

  • This is one of my favorite of Bing's. No one ever covered it as well as he did. Haunting and powerful; especially the way he builds it and then opens up full throttle midway through.

  • Beautiful lyrics. I get this song stuck in my head all the time. It just makes me want to break out a slow waltz in the middle of no where. *imagines waltzing in the grocery store*

  • Probably his finest hour from his finest period (28-34) in my opinion. I've never heard a finer version of this song., though had Russ Colombo recorded it, it would have been outstanding too.

  • @cristoforoantonio Definitely agree with you about this. I love all his recordings from around the 1930 mark.
