What is the point of these labels? The ESRB ratings system already puts labels on games to do the exact same job these new labels are going to do. How does this change anything? Sounds like a waist of time and tax dollars to me.

Here is an idea. How about we save our tax dollars on this useless piece of legislation and put it agents something that matters. Something like education, more cops (meany seem to be getting laid off with the bad economy), or paying off the national debt for starters.

Of course, the other side of it is if I see a game that has a label warning me of violence, nudity, and/or sexual situations, that would make me at least 75% more likely to buy the game.

"Linked" Yeah... Disco pop music has be also liked with child-abuse through Michael Jackson and i just say LINKED.

We are a aggressive race, period. You just have to see 3 - 4 years childs react very aggressive in many cases. Video games are way to release stress in many cases and others to enjoy a pretty good story, challenge or just enjoy your free time. I'll would love to bombard the house of that congress man with millons of Teletubies toys and them say "Teletubies will make you angry !!!"

Fuck this bullshit. I've played M rated games and it doesn't affect the way I live one bit. Violence is caused by the people not video games. People who made this "Bill" are ass wipes, why don't you put your time in going out to the real problems like putting killers and rapists in jail, instead of making up little unimportant shits like this. To all the parents out there saying games cause violence. There's a game rating on the box, don't buy your 13 year old son M rated games.
