Boss PH-1r with a Bass Guitar.m4v

As requested, here is a bass being played through a Boss PH-1r phaser. The bass is an old Hondo with really high action and barely-working electronics. I'm also not a bass player, so I played the only bass riff that I know... Beastie Boys - Gratitude. I recorded it straight into an audio interface, no amplifier (because I don't have a bass amp).

It sounds like the bass might be out of range of the phaser's sweep, because it didn't sound nearly as deep and tasty as it does with guitar. Still pretty cool, and I'm a big fan of subtle modulation on bass guitar anyway. So there you have it.
