I just ordered mine from Amazon at 4 this morning (with a plethora of accessories and upgrades)!
I cannot wait to run CorelDRAW X4 and DreamWeaver CS5 on my morning BART commute into work; Personal PRODUCTIVITY here I come!!!

@ebjeezer and buy the way to the earlier comment about the fact that if people really praise this device they couldn't have really used apple product... I have an iPhone and a Mac Book Air and think they are great, but this Asus slate is amazing for productivity. The quality of the screen is fantastic.

I have been searching for something like this for quite a while. The iPad is a great device but I actually wanted the ability to input data and manipulating data easily not just consume it. I bought one of these tablets 2 weeks ago for work and absolutely love it. The handwriting recognition is amazing. All that for a grand, and the roughly four hour battery is more than enough time for me in any meeting... and how long do you go without seeing an outlet - there even on most planes these days.
