  • will this be the same or close to change waterpump on a 25hp?

  • @cursedjeeper it's the same process. just take your time and you will do fine.

  • Another fine video. Thank you. You are saving money for lots of folks by sharing your knowledge. Another topic that would be good is changing lower unit oil. I hear it is relatively simple but I'd like to see it done once before I try it. Thanks again for a great how-too video.

  • @MSSfan thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you liked it.

  • Thanks bro, changing waterpump in a 67 Merc 1100ss and was having problems getting the key set. Found this vid and did like you and got the key problem solved. Finished the waterpum and fired up the Merc Tower of Power and it pumps water just fine. Thanks again.

  • @ArcticCat11111 thanks for watching the video, I'm glad it helped. thats what it's all about.

  • Great Video, WAY More Informative than any other, You mentioned the little things a newbie would not know to do, like rotate shaft clockwise when sliding upper housing over impeller, Great video!

  • wow, thank u sir... thank was great ! , i watched this then i went and did mine,

mine seemed ok until i pulled it out, and had muitiple cracks and some of the fan blades were soft wich is a sign on going bad soon... Now that i have a new one, OMFG the stream of water that comes out is enough to put out a fire, well a small fire..lol...thanks again ....cheer's

  • Thanks for your great video once again....

  • very cool, I was scared to do it until watching this video, thanks Tc

  • I appreciate the very fine and instructional video. Keep up the great work.

  • Great video. One thing though: I read that you are supposed to renew the silicone gasket material at the rear of the pump (actually on the cross member behind the pump) to keep exhaust gasses from entering the pump area.

  • great video. could u tell me what u used to hold the lower unit perfectly strait on the floor? thanks. keep em coming !

  • Thank you so much, I just finished replacing the water pump on my Mercury 90 HP! You made it very easy! Thanks again, Phil
