В пещере Горного Короля, "Пер Гюнт" Эдварда Грига
Edvard Hagerup Grieg, "Peer Gynt", "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
In the Hall of the Mountain King (Norwegian: I Dovregubbens hall) is a piece of orchestral music, Opus 23, composed by Edvard Grieg for Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt, which premiered in Oslo on February 24, 1876. (It was later extracted as the final piece of Peer Gynt, Suite No. 1, Op. 46.) Although a performance of the full piece runs to only two and a half minutes, its easily recognizable theme has helped it attain iconic status in popular culture.

  • In the 70s I heard this song for the first time. It was done by a rock group and I loved it. This is even better. Thanks for uploading it.

  • @mangledinal Thank you..

  • I had no idea this song had so many depictions. O.o

  • @Gr8gabe :)) Oh,no! It's how I see this piece..

  • Musique magnifique, belles images, mais juste un peu dommage que la musique recommence après, ce serait mieux si la vidéo se coupait lors de la fin de la musique.

  • @Feemelinopiano Thank you very much for your comment.Video is more than simply images and music, there must be an idea, the sense for which video is created. For my idea the music begins another time. Certainly, it is not evident thing, I understand

  • I heard this on discovery channel :P

  • I wonder what Grieg would think if he saw that nowadays this composition is well known because of its frequent appearances in ads for bad slapstick comedies... although it had an excellent feature in "The Social Network" as well...

  • @vereiana Erm. No, I actually like this music.

  • I listened to this full volume with headphones. Then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • Valkyries! i imagine Valkyries!!

  • If you listen very carefully to the music, you can see where the riffs from slayer- south of heaven came from

  • This song was not written by man, but something superior.

  • @Pwi3000 me too
