MP4-12C: Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton test McLaren's new car at Goodwood

Watch Lewis and Jenson put McLaren's new MP4-12C through its paces at Goodwood race circuit.




At today's press conference Jenson said, "We weren't able to race" (LH) "on camera..." and "normally there are 3 things I look for in a car: power, grip and looks. It has all three, but most remarkable is the grip which feels like a race car.

Lewis said, "It doesn't feel like you're sat on top of a machine, you feel part of it" and "The car handles like a real car should handle".

McLaren revealed the performance of its 1300 kg sportscar with the following figures; 0-200km/h in under 10 secs, 1/4 mile in around 11 seconds and top speed over 200mph

@Tomossj Yeh its a nice car..but your right it aint a patch on the original F1/F1GTR , still the fastest naturally aspirated car in the world..

I much prefer the 458 italia, or a koenigsegg CCX or Agera over the Mp4-12C.
