@AGadamsm No-one is lobbying to make it illegal for religious people to get married, serve in the military or adopt kids so I don't see what your point is.
He specifically said that gay people serving openly was "wrong" and is therefore anti gay because there is no rational or just reasoning for DADT, just his own religious views, which makes it unconstitutional.
If your idea of religious rights is, like Perry, to use your religion to deny equal rights to other people then too bad.

first, im not a rick perry supporter. however, the strong ad is clearly not an attack on gays, its an attack of religious close-mindedness. he basically said theres something wrong when gay rights are stronger than religious rights, that doesnt mean hes gay-bashing
