no and he is still a virgin

There is a reference in an episode of voyager where they encounter an ancient race that knew of the BORG in the past. TREK needs a fact checker. Unless it happened in an episode or a movie IT JUST DOES'NT COUNT!!!

The Novels Star Trek Destiny 1-3 explain the origin of the Borg pretty well ...

@mizunderstoodvw but what you are missing is those borg crashed after the events of the first contact movie which take place in 2063 but the borg time traveled to earth and when the enterprise ncc-1701-e destryoed the sphere the wrekege crashed at the northen pole i belive so while yes archer had dealt with the borg it was still becuase af picard that happend

ITS CRAP!!!!
Guy's I just watched the Star Trek movie again, and I have to say when Lt. Ilia return's as a robot/drone created by VGer and says "resistance is futile" and talks about organic life being inefficient and inferior to artificial life, for my money the Lt. Ilia drone is the birth of BORG.
But in truth I think the writers of Next Generation deliberately played on the VGer connection when creating the Borg and the resistance is futile remark made by Lt Ilia is a homage/ wink to this.
