Ricky and David take on a paper route and Ozzie lays down the rules about taking the job seriously and being responsible. On the morning they are supposed to start however, Harriet thinks that the boys are coming down with colds and doesn't wake them up.

Harriet does wake Ozzie up; to deliver the papers for the boys. Ozzie struggles to stay awake and gets the job done, sort of.

  • These must be re runs of re runs Tthe show looks 50's but wouldn't 007 be a tie in with one of the 1960's movies?thanks for the posts !

  • @jsilence418 I think so. The original commercials must have been replaced. -Michael

  • she sounds like barbra billingsley

  • Rick was born in May 1940. If this as I suspect 1964 or 65 he would be 24-25. No way was 007 popular enough until after JFK was found reading Ian Fleming in the White House. This looks like LA local independent television where these shows are still running today. TV Land and others have run shows and added vintage commercials as well when they were in their early years.....The person we need here in "fromthesidelines" maybe he/she will see this and comment. <-best I've seen to answer 4 sure

  • @CassieLopez I am certain, when it comes to the really important stuff, your memory is excellent !

  • @jsilence418 Well golly gee willikers, M. Silence, I didn't mean that! I only meant that you seemed to have some special knowledge whereas I was only relying on my memory. And, just ask my kids, that isn't as reliable as it once was. :-)

  • @CassieLopez thanks for calling me old Ms Lopez!! lol

  • @jsilence418 Well I thought it might be possible, but you seem to know more about it than I do. I was only a kid when this show was on, and I didn't know anything about James Bond then. You're probably right.

  • @CassieLopez I guarantee not enough Americans were that hip to James Bond that he would be used in a commercial in the 1950's ! plus this style and color say 1960's!

  • @jsilence418 It's not impossible that this was an original commercial. After all, before the Bond movies were the Bond books by Ian Fleming. They started in the early 50's and were wildly popular.

  • Yes,it certainly gives you a warm feeling to see these shows again!

I also love Andy Griffin Show. I purchased the last series but can't recall the part where Andy married his fiance. Does anyone know what series it showed them getting married?
