Jumping, Level 1 Plyometrics for Tennis Players & Athletes ... this is a full instructional sample of the type of fitness videos I produce for tennis players.

Jumping, Level 1 Plyometrics Video
I'm Scott McTeer with McTeer Video Productions and welcome to Jumping, Level 1 Plyometrics.
Remember, don't play tennis to get in shape; get in shape to play better tennis!
Great tennis players have great footwork. Improved footwork = improved tennis.
To play great tennis, you must be able to move quickly in all directions, change directions quickly and often, all while being balanced enough to hit an effective shot.
These low level plyometric movements will help you do that. They may also used as a warm-up before playing or training.
Plyometrics are a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements and improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance in sports.
Plyometric movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher, run faster and hit harder.
The movements in this video may done quickly and explosively or slower and more deliberate, depending on your fitness level and purpose.
