  • Pavedwave for all your pumping questions.

  • damn that is the life

  • So pumping is like riding a ripstik?

  • @noarys there was some crazy guy pumping his longboard so they kept away...

  • @noarys shark week

  • @OJJVZ Also don't get a board with too long wheelbase. I got a 30" wheelbase and that seems to work, the Gravity Burning Spear with 25,25" wheelbase for instance should work pretty well.

Also don't get a too flexy (nor to stiff I think) board and some grippy wheels, but not too big! Because that makes it harder to steer. (70mm should be fine)

Where I live this is a popular setup.

    - Bennett Vektor in front with 14 deg wedge

    - Tracker RTS in the rear with 7 deg dewedge

    - Abec 11 zigzags

  • @MoManMike I'm just starting to learn it myself, so if you ppl don't agree feel free to correct me :P

What seems to help for me is putting some risers under the trucks, and some wedges (7-14 degrees wedged in front and 7 degrees de-wedged in the rear)

Also preferbly put some Vectors or Indies or something like that under your deck, Randalls and other RKP trucks arn't too great. (Possible tho)

Now your deck is really high up the wheels you can put some nice and squishy soft bushings in there.
