@lucyedinburgh Chaplin wasnt known for mime..i think you meant Marcel Marceau which MJ had studied intensely and became personal friends with later-Marcel even appeared on stage with MJ to promote his music. but i think he was influenced greatly by Chaplin-even recording Chaplin's song "Smile"-MJ also did (lots) of Art work and drawings of him as a kid and teen -(see:YT)-i wonder if they will ever do an art show of MJ's paintings and drawings?you're correct-MJ loved Chaplin!even!

elated in the above link and put in /watch?v=35nIo8aBw-g&feature=r elated at second 40 you will see the moonwalk. But either way Michael never said he invented the moonealk but noone can deny he perfected it. I am white and as ALL people on earth are i am somewhat racist but fact is fact Michael is/was/and probably will always be the best at moonwalking. 1 month ago 2

This simply proves my lifelong theory that Charlie Chaplain was a time traveler. He came to the future, saw Michael Jackson doing the moon walk and went back to his time to use it in his movies.
