Billy is visited in Newcastle by Spike, who was his best friend at school. Spike's arrival seems to unsettle some of the locals - including Billy and Mr Whitaker.

Joan Sanderson gives an enjoyable performance as Miss Morton, Billy's boss at the bookshop (she also appears in Part 24).

    Hehe. Amazing find & a side of Robert we never expected to see!

    He certainly seemed to be having a blast with this role, a step forward from playing the snob & bully boy.

    Guy of Gisburne was his defining moment, but this has to be one of our favourites. It shows his playful and mischievious side perfectly.

    Miss you Robert. A light extinguished far too early...

    Robert Addie was SO great, went on to be Guy of Gisborne in Robin of Sherwood. Love that outfit too, very pld new romantic!!
