"Glass or Plastic?"

This video was created as a class project by film students at Bowling Green State University, in cooperation with O-I, the world's leading glass packaging manufacturer located in nearby Perrysburg, OH. The goal is to use humor and the power of social networking to help communicate the advantages of glass packaging over alternative packaging materials.

The choice is clear: Ban plastic! Save the Ocean! Save sea life! Save all life! Save the quality of your own life! Do not eat food wrapped in plastic. Do not drink beverages contained in plastic. Do not wear plastic (e.g., GoreTex) Warm plastic molecules can migrate through skin; damage brain; linked to Morgellon's disease. Burning plastic in SEALED, 800 degree + furnace will destroy the molecules and fumes; land fill will not. Toxic fumes are produced at temperatures lower than 800 degrees F.
