I'm a fan of both, and they're both very talented: Lara did an amazing job with lousy production values and costars who never remembered their lines. Lysette is a lovely actress as well - but I think she kind of overdid Angelique, Lara was more subtle. Lysette was ranting and raving, Lara could do it all with just her eyes.

@MsFighterxxx I completely agree with you. I don't think Lara Parker was that great of an actress. Lysette really did an excellent job with the role.

I disagree snowgirl, I think Lysette added a more realistic quaility to Angelique, she added an almost exotic, yet emotoinaly psychotic, darkness to Ange, considnering Lysette is nice, that was good acting.
