off the cuff (Soft Lights and Hot Music) original by Mel Lewis and the Jazz Orchestra co&arr by JIM MCNEELY 古賀フル Live 2007/03/11 @神戸元町 cafe 萬屋宗兵衛 solo by tenor sax
Yeah...I guess it was alright, but you need to make sure that your solo has somewhat of a "road map." Meaning that it should make some kind of sense and not be completely random...Even the way Coltrane played made sense, though it was extremely experimental. So just listen to more Coltrane and James Carter, etc. and you should be fine.
saxev2005 for one you cant say anything about jazz. You live in Ohio. New Yorkers cant say anything about jazz, they think only bebop should be played and everyone else sees how fast they can play there lics, thats not what its about.
FLsaxman007, you're joking, right? I played with Stivers School for the Arts Jazz Orchestra and anyone I played with would destroy him.....not to be mean....but you need to listen to more jazz if you thought that was amazing.....
The back band is not so good. They couldn't catch up the score.
I'm Japanese.

Meh, it's on an individual basis. You can't say "people from here and there can't say anything about jazz" But I agree that it's not all about speed.
