A Prayer (Here I Am)

So I wrote this song two weeks ago.

I wrote it because I'm at a very exciting stage of life where I, like many of my friends, are having to frequently make decisions that may significantly impact our lives. Just like back in Christmas when I made a decision as to what I would like to pursue after my undergraduate degree, something that is completely different from what I had originally planned. At the moment I'm just waiting on the Lord to open and close the right doors.

This song expresses the anxiety when I worry about what will happen in my life. Often I forget that God is taking care of me, is a million steps before me, and has the best plan for me. Every day is a struggle when I neglect His sovereignty and promises. Maybe you can relate to that too.
It is my prayer that I would surrender my life to the Creator who gave it its meaning in the first place.
