@Evillordc pretty sure I've seen all his statements on the subject and he recently corrected someone who said the same thing, and re-stated that he had *not* confirmed it either way. he did say at some point we would find out what happened to Maric and Fiona, so maybe in the new book coming out in August he'll tell us what's what.

Gaider has confirmed that the child in The Calling is not Alistair.

After beating the game they should of let you join him after in game+ so you could use him through most of the game.
