I think the CFR's "fact" about the mercury in a tuna fish sandwich being more than in the flu shot might be false. I heard that a) the mercury is many more parts per million in the flu shot than in the sandwich. And b) that the mercury in the sandwich is less harmful anyway because it's bound to the protein and will mostly pass through the body rather than being injected directly into the bloodstream.
