I would not recommend the use of a flat-sided box. The barrels can quickly be transferred to the rubble and are also stabilized easily on the rubble. Any "container" you use must share these traits (along with fitting other method-specific criteria such as completely containing the odor aside from the door opening, ability to use the teaser/distraction ball and must be able to comfortably hold a person in a position where they can easily reward the dog).
