This is a demonstration of a typical installation of our 1304E digital surveillance system in a home. It is a good idea with all the break-ins and home invasions in Memphis and surroundings areas.
If you use alot of Infrared Cameras, you will need a high-powered power supply (B-TRON) to run them. Check the power output per-channel of the power supply and the power consumption of each camera you are using. Example,A typical dome camera (NO IR) uses about 200 mA, a 30 LED camera will use about 500 mA.
@ihatemuckdjs You can buy a central power supply box. Depending on the type of cameras you are using 24volt AC or 12volt DC (Some cameras are dual voltage) you have to select the proper power supply for your type of camaras. Not only do you have to select the right current AC or DC but you also have to take into consideration the power consumpion of the camera's that you are using.
all you need is a +12vdc power source for each camera and coaxial cable or utp, you also need to buy bnc conectors for the coaxial cable or transceptors for the utp.
Which camera, If typical bnc connection and dc power supply u will need a pci express card, Avermedia nv5000 is a good realtime 4 channel card.
Software will only be with the camera if an IP cam, This needs to be connected to the internet, thus allowing you to sign into camera using an IP address, but you would be able to see images on your computer, maybe abit choppy :S
Cool music but it would be better if you illustrated and talked folks like myself through it.
