Joni segue suo marito e l'incontro con Peter Gabriel nei suoi studi di Bath è l'occasione di un duetto, My Secret Place. La permanenza della Mitchell presso la residenza di Peter Gabriel é fonte di ispirazione per nuovi brani che poi confluiranno nel suo album del 1988.

fan since i was 17...really like this pic of her. cut my emotional teeth on "Hissing...never gets completely out of one's system...not necessarily a bad thing..thanks for posting...thanks to Joni for providing an outlet for girls with more than cheerleading on their minds
