Might as well be called Welcome to Camp FEMA... adapted from the novel by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

  • i havnt watched the whole thing, but shukov puts the thermometer in his armpit not his arm.

  • i hate this book im doing a project on it right now

  • i like the russian irish accents

  • i agree with Pepecamilo, read the book. it may be confusing at points because the characters may have more than one name- most Russian novels are like that. an example is ivan and kilgas, they call eachother ivan but are reffered to in the book as shukhov and kilgas.

  • Well done guys, that's a good effort. I'd like to see the original film but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

Well done again with your project.

  • Read the book It's sad and funny at times.

  • its a small book compared to other great Russian novels. If you dont have even that patience your reading habit needs some revamping

  • i wish i could just watch this instead of reading and annotating this damn book.

  • nicely done very nice cinematography
