  • the quality of this vid is quite poor

  • I think more people are willing to pay for this because it feels good and relaxing, not because they believe it has some actual medicinal relevance.

  • @anthonylarkin41 you mean that thing reflexology is?

  • @SDorje I totally agree. I put a bit of powder on the feet to do a Reflexology treatment on a client. After, when I do a foot massage, I put oil to do the massage.

  • Reflexologists do not advocate the use of creams, lotions or "goo" - this is a type of foot massage!

Anthony Larkin (Patron National Reg. Reflexologists Ireland).

  • "Advanced Reflexology"? This is a regular foot massage with someone trying to pass it off as reflexology

  • Cream to the feet? Reflexology NEVER uses cream or oils. Those are for foot massage. Why are massage therapists with 8 hrs training in reflexology touting themselves as reflexologists?

  • This technique is more of a "massage" than "reflexology". My opinion is reflexology is NOT massage. It works by using various thumb and finger techniques on specific points and regions on the feet. I have been a massage therapist since 1990. In my massage school only 8 hours were dedicated to reflexology. Some schools do vary. I ended up taking an additional 300 hrs of classroom and practicum in reflexology. Most states don't include reflexology in their massage laws or definitions of massage.

  • I know see what you mean....true.

  • I was wondering if someone had their legs amputated would the thousands of nerves that are on the feet be on the bottom of the stubs of their legs?
