I've seen her live doing I kissed a girl with the original version and it seems hard to interprete live, but you just have to watch her videos on MTV unpluged to notice she's a BRILLANT singer who DOESN'T need special ''pop'' effects. That's because she doesn't say "like a girl changes clothes" in fact she wants the crowd to, but they don't catch on very quickly so she shouts "-irl changes clothes" AND NOTICE the mic away from her mouth! it can be really hard to shout over a crowd sometimes....especially when they are cheering for you
