I was never really into jazz guitar till I heard Joyce Cooling. She has a something that just really impressed me. I first heard her music on a smooth jazz radio station, but a lot of her stuff would probably do well even on pop radio stations. I have played several of her songs for friends who are into everything from techno to metal and all said she was impressive. I now own pretty much all of her CD's and play them a lot. Great musician and pretty easy on the eyes as well.

what an awesome tribute to what sounds like an awesome soul....to have this song to remember your sister with, well, we should all be so lucky

@mlzorb Sounds like she was a wonderful person with a wonderful spirit.. (This is one of my favorite tunes by Ms. Cooling.) So sorry for the loss of your sister. It's never easy when you lose someone like your sister, but you will always remember the good times and all the memories that will always be a part of you forever.

WOW! She's a knockout AND she's a fabulous guitarist. What more could a man ask for????!!!

Callie's life work was yoga. She trained herself to perfection & established Soma Yoga studio in San Francisco in the 1990's. She had a delightful sense of humor, inexhaustible energy, & loved adventure. She water-skied, snow-skied, biked, hiked, parasailed, climbed, and always pushed herself beyond the limit—she was fearless. Callie died 5-18-99 trying to help a neighbor. We miss her.
Thank you Joyce for such a lovely tribute. Sincerely,
Michele Littlefield-Zorb (Callie's sister)
