Well if we are being REALLY Anal, it's neither the centreline lights nor Terrorists! The Aircraft is slightly off Centreline, if not the banging would be constant! The sound is from the lights on the Highspeed runway turnoff markings. ( The yellow line you see going under the aircraft on the 2nd time you hear the banging )

Why dont the pilots ever say "V1" or rotate or "v2" ???

@nightchad They ALWAYS do, it's just that Video Camera's cant Catch it over the engine noise. Dont Forget, the Pilots got Headsets on, so they just have to talk at normal speaking volume for the other pilot to hear them.

What is that knocking sound? I heard it in another plane vid. The runways can't have that big of cracks possibly?

@EmbraerN89 : Flaps are set. But because of the Curved aspect on the base of the flap lever console, it gives the illusion Flaps aren't set from the Vantage point of the Video.

@tishan11 my mom said that i am going to seat in the cockpit next year when we are going to bangladesh in a Boeing 747 so how to get in a cockpit of a plane? tell a flight attendant that you want to seat in the cockpit?

@PilotUTA It isn't actually a button(s). It's a little plastic flappy thing that gets flipped to check that the cebin is secure for take off/landing.

Cool video from the cockpit! What was that banging noise? If I were a passenger and heard something like that during takeoff, I would have been slightly alarmed by that if not alot!
